Position Overview:

  • The ideal Candidate is dependable, positive attitude, and able to work independently.
  • He/She is able to multi-task in a fast paced environment as well as demonstrate an initiative for success and a positive work environment.
  • This person will work within the Engineering Department to specify manufacturing details for Sheet Metal Part Fabrication.
  • Job would be 39.5 hours a week, 7:30am to 3:30pm M-F. There is opportunity for OT with this position when available.

Qualifications & Skills:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, Fabriwin , Diamond Soft Epicor { ERP } a Plus 
  • Creating routers and BOM. 
  • Knowledgeable on various precision CNC machinery Amada / Mitsubishi, fabrication and machining practices, the properties of materials, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling.
  • Capable of efficiently integrating existing methods with new innovation to economically solve production problems in a timely manner.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand G Codes including ability to write, edit and troubleshoot production and technical issues. 
  • Ability to problem solve at shop floor level.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Min 3 years working with programming CNC Punch Press and/or Lasers for Sheet Metal Fabrication.
  • Knowledge of metal alloys and usage within consumer and industrial products
  • Familiarity with plating types, painting, powder coating, and welding
