Established in 1970 by James Vining, President, Salem Metal Fabricators, Inc. has always been associated with family, quality, on-time delivery and a great value. We are a family owned and operated business that was originally located in a 3,500 sq. ft. facility in Salem, MA, but our shop caught fire in 1986, making way for us to move to a larger, 30,000 sq. ft., facility in Middleton, MA.

Although our growing business needed the additional space, rebuilding the company after the fire wasn’t easy. It took a great coming together of our loyal employees – who didn’t want to work elsewhere, and loyal customers – who promised their return once the shop was back up and running. This dedication and superior customer service of Salem’s employees has remained consistent over the years and has been fundamental to our success.

We take pride in our work and are responsive to our customers’ needs. Our low employee turnover and long-lasting relationships with a diverse customer base has kept business flowing over the years through the rise and fall of many industries.

Today, Salem Metal Fabricators’ Middleton, MA location is a newly expanded, fully air-conditioned and temperature controlled facility with 30,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing area, 5,000 sq. ft. of storage and an in-house paint facility to better serve our customers’ needs. With a cohesive team of 45 precision craftsmen we provide detail-orientated, flexible services to such commercial industries as medical device, computer, telecommunications and other electronics industries.
