to programming and fabricating your precision parts and assemblies.  

CAD files may be sent to Salem Metal Fabricators by e-mail to: drawings@salemmetal.com

The following software is available for programming and viewing transfered files.

• ProEngineer Wildfire 3.0
• Key Creator 3.0
• E Drawings 2007
• Volo View Express
• Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0
• Vellum Share 6.1

Accepted file formats:

• DXF
• IGES
• DWG
• PRT
• STEP

Hard copies of prints are requested for quotation and manufacturing purposes.  If hard copies are not sent with the CAD files, we will produce a hard copy from your CAD file, provided the following pertinent information is included in the file:

• Part Name, Number and Rev
• Material Specifications
• Hardware Requirements
• Finish Specifications
• General Notes

Please note:
3D drawings require 'Critical to Function' dimensions and tolerances
2D drawings require complete dimensioning
